Today I speak with Joe Chapman of the Chapman Property Group in the British Virgin Islands.
Today I speak with Joe Chapman of the Chapman Property Group in the British Virgin Islands.
Joe was a hugely successful professional squash player, before turning his talents to the building construction industry. Joe is a keen advocate of Master Plan Communities, and is building one of the first of its kind in the British Virgin Islands.
Listen to Joe speak about his commitment to self-improvement through discipline, the ability to work really hard, and the ability to suffer. Joe also speaks of the fascinating nuances in the construction industry, including how sustainable and environmentally friendly building projects really do work through Master Plan Communities.
We discuss the effects of Hurricane Irma, how people reacted to such an immense storm, and how the experience changed Joe’s views on the world and on construction.
Listen to the end, and hear Joe turn the tables on me! The interviewee becomes the interviewer and I am asked about synthesising large swathes of information, emotional intelligence, differences between male and female lawyers as regards their confidence, and other topics! None of this was planned – hear my honest views on these topics!
